Sensation Yachts New Zealand Finishes $60 million Super Yacht
Sensation Yachts has totally built on site a $60 million super-yacht - for the super-rich owner - called “MY Sensation” at the Henderson Creek site in West Auckland.
A crew of 12 will provide 6-star service in the opulent surrounds of the My Sensation super-yacht when it is based in Europe for cruising the Mediterranean.
Examples of the luxurious materials used to highlight the opulent interiors can be seen on the Sensation Yachts website. They include: onyx; marble; handmade carpeting; silks; hand made furniture of French oak, cherry and madrona burl; padded hand-stitched leather on the walls.
A walk around the upper deck will reveal an enormous saloon for entertaining a large number of guests with panoramic views that can be enjoyed while dining al fresco and enjoying the piano or band entertainment. The main deck features the living area including a smaller saloon, formal dining room, kitchen and the owner’s suite with private office, full bathroom plus steam room and a large king size bedroom. Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in the lower deck cabins. For those wanting to enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine a sun deck features lounge, Jacuzzi, bar and barbeque.
My Sensation is powered by 3000 HP diesel Caterpillar engines producing a top speed of 22 knots and generating the power needed for all the services on the floating hotel superyacht.
